This coming January, Alcohol Concern invites you to join your friends and family to take part in Dry January.

Following Christmas, it is a month to give your body a holiday from booze, helping you to save money, lose weight and feel energised.

You can sign up on the Dry January website to receive tips and ideas to keep you motivated throughout the month.

Evidence shows that taking a month-long break from alcohol can act as a reset, not only helping you to drink less per drinking day but also to drink less frequently. People taking part in Dry January will also see benefits to their waistline, wallet and general health.

Dry January is not about never drinking again, it’s just an opportunity for people to reflect on their drinking patterns and to give their body a break from alcohol after the festive period.
